For the Supply Chain Team for our Belgian and German Catalogue business, we are looking for a:

Supply Chain Planner

 

Reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Manager you are responsible for product availability, so as to consistently meet the customer service level targets, while maintaining the inventory levels within budget.

You strive for continuous supply chain improvements.

 

Your responsibilities:

 

You assure product availability to support the requested customer service level.

You optimize inventory (A stock, D Stock), set and adjust stock targets and manage inventory levels (Stock turns).

You manage all related processes, information flow and stake holder relations with regards to ordering products, delivery bookings, RTV, substitutions …

You communicate purchasing forecasts to all suppliers on a monthly or more frequent basis depending on specific agreement. You track changes and plan accuracy and strive for improvement of information.

You actively participate and be fully aware of the demand/promo planning process and its results as a key driver to supply and inventory planning decisions.

You give full support to the business on promotion, sales and gross margin activities.

You manage vendor relationship and actively participate in supplier assessment.

You implement the agreed strategic and operating processes.

You develop the supplier base, with the support of the SCPM, through involving the suppliers and Merchandising in a common process, optimizing information flow and identifying and setting common continuous improvement targets.

You actively participate in the new catalogue/promo planning process through managing orders and forecasts at their demand/supply interface (smoothing, deferring, pulling forward etc.)

You interface actively and intensively with DC, CRM, Data Management, …

 

 

Exigences

 

Who are we looking for?

 

Your knowledge and experience

·          Master degree or equivalent level achieved through experience.

·          PC literate. Advanced Excel skills. Knowledge of a major ERP system and/or Access is an asset.

·          Excellent English and Dutch, both written and spoken, + basic German knowledge. Or excellent English and French, both written and spoken, + operational German knowledge. Other languages are an asset.

·          Knowledge and/or understanding of Supply Chain is an asset.
