For our Publishing Team based in Wemmel, we are looking for a:

/ Desktop Publisher

The graphic designer is responsible for the correct and commercial publishing of our catalogues, other printed media, and email newsletters. He/she gets the optimal presentation of the products, together with our Merchandising Team and Media Coordinators.

Your responsibilities:

·       Take responsibility for the correct, on-time and commercial publishing of our mail order catalogues and other marketing materials; supervise creation covers and special pages.

·       Guarantee the production of email newsletters to be sent 2 to 3 times per week.

·       Graphic Designer Safe-guard the country specific identity of our medias, keep the integrity of house style.

·       Respect the work plans, structure and organization of the workflow across the team and with other teams.

·       Do quality controls of material coming from vendors and prepare files to printers and transfers.

·       Demonstrate a commitment to quality and the process of continuous improvement, identifying and responding actively, and with sensitivity, to the needs of all customers, and be open and responsive to change.

Who are we looking for?

·       Experienced Graphic Designer, familiar with desktop and web publishing. Minimum 3 years experience in Mail Order Environment & Printing Processes.

·       Profound knowledge of Quark Xpress; Adobe Suite.

·       Knowledge of HTML and DreamWeaver

·       Accuracy / Attention to detail, able to keep high level of quality when dealing with tight deadlines.

·       Capability to do Macintosh park maintenance is a plus

·       With effective verbal and written skills in French and Dutch, English is a plus.

·       Team spirit, flexibility, prepared to go the extra mile.

·       Willing to be part of a multidisciplinary team in an international environment.
